Administrative Services: Integrated Administrative Services provides cross-departmental functions for the SES including computer support, reception, print and Web publication, accounting, and registration.
Extended Campus: This dynamic partnership with Oregon community colleges enables students to complete their bachelor's degrees at locations most convenient for them. Courses are offered in a flexible format and address multiple modes of teaching and learning. Our five locations facilitate the transition to university learning by providing students with on-site advising to ensure transferability of credits to PSU.
Independent Study: Independent Study offers accredited university and high school courses outside the classroom through online and correspondence study. Self-paced courses are open to anyone anytime: register anytime; no admission required. Start immediately, study at your own pace whenever and wherever you wish, and take up to 18 months to complete your course. Credits can be transferred to the school of your choice.
Professional Development Center: The center is dedicated to assisting individuals in achieving job satisfaction, workplace excellence, and personal growth. PDC partners with organizations to ensure that their employees receive the best training possible in line with organizational needs and goals. You can choose from a variety of noncredit courses, seminars, customized training, and institutes throughout the greater Portland metropolitan area.
Summer Session: The largest academic summer program in Oregon, Summer Session is composed of comprehensive, award-winning schools and colleges. We feature distinguished faculty from the PSU campus as well as from around the world. We serve your educational needs for academic degrees, professional development, and personal enrichment.
Online Learning Services: Online Learning Services (OLS) assists PSU departments with the design, development, and online delivery of academic programs. OLS services encompass needs-analysis, program planning, student-service design, course design, faculty training and instructional support, and ongoing quality management and evaluation. The primary tool for delivering online programs is currently Blackboard course management system.
Online Workforce Development: Learn anytime, anywhere. This program features high-quality, instructor-led and self-directed online courses and certificates. Choose a course of study from our online course catalog and take your learning to a new level. Enroll today (start anytime) or choose from a number of a fixed start dates. Portland State University, in association with JER Group, Inc., offers courses in over 45 subject areas.
