For-Credit Courses

The majority of courses offered in Extended Studies are for-credit courses at the undergraduate or graduate level.

Independent Study offers fully accredited university and high school courses outside the classroom through correspondence study and online. These self-paced courses are open to anyone at any time: register at any time with no admission required. Register any time, study at your own pace, whenever and wherever you wish, and take up to 18 months to complete your course. Credits can be transferred to the school of your choice.

Degree Programs are offered at the undergraduate and graduate levels on the PSU campus and at various locations across Oregon.

Continuing Education/Graduate School of Education offers degree coursework for educators and human services professionals at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Summer Session offers a full complement of graduate and undergraduate courses from across PSU's academic disciplines.
