Offerings for Homeschool Students

Extended Studies offers flexible learning opportunities for home school students and parents.

The Independent Study Program high school and college courses can be completed by homeschooled students online or through correspondence. Core required high school courses taught by Oregon licensed instructors are available in English, math, science, health, and social studies, with electives in business, psychology, sociology, and current issues. Lower division college courses taught by academic department instructors are available in areas of chemistry, criminology, economics, English literature and composition, geology, history, mathematics, psychology, and sociology.

The Continuing Education Press publishes the popular award-winning Getty-Dubay Italic Handwriting Series for K-6th grade, and offers a free annual handwriting improvement workshop in January. This workshop is an opportunity for homeschool parents and their children to gain hands-on experience with the program and interact with the authors themselves at no charge!
